Write! Haliburton

Write! Haliburton is a one-day workshop for writers, from aspiring to professional. Come and learn, network and meet new friends. This is the first Write! Event in the Haliburton Highlands.

“Get to Know the Writer in You”

Whether you’re a raw beginner or have some experience, you need to reflect on what you would like to get out of writing, examine what it means to be a writer, and plan for your future. This practical session breaks down the complex subject of “being a writer” into ABCs and helps you see how to make your desire to write a reality.

Nancy Lindquist

N. J. Lindquist is the author of ten books, eight books for young adults, a Christmas play and more than 200 published articles, columns and stories. N. J. has been teaching writing classes since 1992. Whether writing her books and columns, mentoring individuals, or speaking to large crowds, N. J. loves knowing that her words can positively impact the people she comes into contact with, and that each person is vital to the whole of humanity. She strives to shine a light rather than sit in the darkness.
