The Word Guild Writing Awards Gala
Each year, The Word Guild hosts a black-tie Awards Gala on the Wednesday evening before the Write! Canada conference. The 2009 Gala will be held on Wednesday June 17 at 7:30 p.m. Our third annual Writing Awards Gala was held on June 11, 2008 at World Vision Canada in Mississauga, Ont.
Prizes for Writers and Aspiring Writers
The Word Guild sponsors four writing awards programs, which are open to citizens or permanent residents of Canada who affirm The Apostles' Creed.

The Partnership Award
The Partnership Award is presented periodically by The Word Guild to an individual or organization who has shown exceptional support and encouragement of Canadian writers and editors who are Christian. Previous winners have included a Canadian Christian book publisher; the publishers of two Canadian Christian newspapers; a writer/editor/literary agent whose publishing industry career has spanned more than 50 years; and Imago, a charitable arts organization.
