She also has written articles, book reviews, sports write-ups, as well as an education column when she was a Board of Education trustee. Now that her children are grown, Denise is able to devote more time to her writing and speaking. As associate managing director for The Word Guild, she enjoys talking to people about The Word Guild, its members and their work.

Volunteer Coordinator, Kimberley Payne, is the author of Where Family Meets Faith, Where Fitness Meets Faith and Where Life Meets Faith. These three volumes are collections of Kimberley’s “Today’s Faith” devotional columns that relate raising a family, pursuing a healthy lifestyle, and everyday experiences to building a relationship with God. She is a professional member of The Word Guild, and a member of the Leadership Team. Communications Team Lead,  Neil Bramble, a professional member, has served as editor of The Canadian Gideon for the past 16 years. Neil comes from a background of teaching—high school English and history—having spent 16 years in that profession. He has been a staff member of The Gideons since 1981. A writer and speaker, Neil is also an Alpha advisor and leads the Alpha course in his church in Guelph, ON. “I am impressed with the spiritual depth and godly vision of The Word Guild and enthusiastically support its mission,” he says. “Canadians need to hear the message God has for them and we as Christian writers have a responsibility to communicate it. I want to be part of that.”

Member Care Team Lead, Belinda Burston, works full time in the social service sector, in a faith-based ministry supporting people with developmental disabilities and their families. Belinda is also the Small Groups Network Facilitator for The Word Guild, helping connect writers with writers’ circles in their areas. She is a member of the Writers Nest writing circle.
A sense that God was calling her to write first led her to the God Uses Ink conference in 2000. She found great joy in the community of kindred spirits that was to become The Word Guild. Belinda writes the monthly column profiling Canadian authors for Maranatha News and also has been published in The Village Magazine in the U.K. and Exceptional Possibilities, a magazine published by Christian Horizons. Her daily devotional blog can be found at www.whateverhesays.blogspot.com.  As well as having a passion to write, Belinda is a cell group leader, a worship leader and has a heart to encourage others in their gift of writing.

Website Coordinator, Jan Cox, is a writer of devotionals and poems. Her byline is “Butterfly Beacons - Helping others to see His Light.”
